You are asking all the right questions! The answers are complex, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

In regard to Detrict Klinghardt’s third level of healing I will quote a relevant quote from my article and expand on it:

“If this Lyme disease patient were to enter into psychotherapy there may be found traumatic, unresolved issues in their own life history, or in the family history that may have been passed on. This unresolved history is held in the field of energy that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. By facing and resolving this (conscious, unconscious or sub-conscious) pain, that then allows a flow and healing of the energy body that would otherwise weigh down or inhibit full healing.” There are many forms of energy and other traditional and alternative healing that work on these deep wounds. In my own work, Reiki Fusion, I combine deep psychotherapy with direct work on and in the energy field that surrounds the physical body (usually called the aura) that contain the energetic equivalents (bio-photons) of the thoughts and feelings associated with the trauma/s. This energy can be cleared in a gentle manner at the same time the charged emotions associated with past trauma can be neutralized.

Now, this may sound like a lot of gobbledy-gook but I assure you, this is a fascinating and transformative process that does not re-traumatize you as these past pains are faced and released. This is the most joyful and gratifying work that I do!

On the forth level of healing, I will again quote the article that you are referring to, and expand from there:

“The forth level of healing is identified as the Intuitive body. It is realm of the shaman, the religious, the spiritual, and your metaphysical experiences. Dr. Klinghardt postulates that on this level unresolved conflict and trauma from a person’s past and from their history can generate physical illness. Unless these traumas are faced and resolved, they may act out these unresolved issues in spite of a medical approach dealing only with the physical body…Klinghardt developed something he calls Family Constellation work to delve into the family history and therapeutically identify and resolve the trauma…Our Lyme patient may receive the best treatment for the physical components of Lyme disease, but, according to this model, the patient will be vulnerable to continued illness unless this “contaminating” emotional disability is healed through psychotherapy, family therapy or other uncovering and healing techniques.”

The most fascinating aspect of healing on this level is that the work is done in order to heal not only your personal traumatic past, but the past of your ancestors! We are the recipients of genetic, emotional, psychological and spiritual aspects from countless generations before us. We have the capacity to reach down deep to heal those parts of our damaged selves that we have experienced in our lifetimes, but also that which has been handed down from father and mother to son and daughter.

Through trance and hypnotic work we do have the capacity to access these traumas, and to release the pain associated with this pain.The once dark places leave room for the light, healing and love. Joyful work indeed.

The fifth level of healing is highly personal and spiritual. No intermediary is needed. Each individual may have access to his or her higher self and Spirit. Your belief in the ability to directly access this great and infinite resource is key. If the lower levels are cleared, it opens the way to the higher level Connection. In my work, I guide you to turning the key yourself – through teaching meditation, quieting the mind, allowing you to move into yourself. Paradoxically, as you enter quietly into your personal realm, the door opens to a connection with the matrix of connection with all that is. In that connection is the joy and peace that we all seek.
